being a good kid
being a good kid, i'm *starting* to look into what's supposed to be my summer homework, namely, researching on companies, researching on targeted industries and career paths, reading astronomic amount of articles on wetfeet and vault, as well as ebooks, going out hunting for "copied edition" of textbooks-to-be, learning the art of networking through reading and practice, thinking about building up a killer resume, etc etc...
i'm so glad i have 2.5 months off.
while reading about networking, i found the follow paragraph amusing, and would like to share it with those who are still "in the dark", and with my "past life" too.
"In this tough job market, no one has to tell you how important it is to network. If you don’t know that, you are either independently wealthy and don’t ever need to work, or you’ve been hiding under a rock for the bulk of your career."
